I believe out in BC you're allowed 24,000 kg on a tridem drive axle group, so you've got a fair amount of weight holding you down when loaded, 2,000 kg per tire. Logging trucks out there have an advantage in that they always have the weight of the empty trailer on the drives when they're heading back to the bush.

What kind of tire pressure do you think they run? We keep them at 9bar/130psi

Usually ran about 110 PSI in them I believe.

I am surprised how poorly road is being made, no solid rock at all just sand like road.

An interesting solution to increase the gross weight. But surely the driver can relieve the pressure during the journey?

All the states I’m familiar with require the controls to be outside of the cab.
