Insurance CERT holder - Progressive

    Hello everyone!
    I got my new authority and considering to get Progressive insurance (Indiana state). Does anyone know if Progressive provide insurance certificate with the Broker as certificate holder? Do I need call to Progressive every time I book a load with a knew broker so they could provide it?
    Please share your experience.

    If you have your authority you already have your insurance. Most insurance companies have a website where you can log in and email the prospective broker your insurance certificate directly from the insurance website.

    Our broker used to keep a list and would send them out at every renewal, as well as, give us copies.

    My agent does them, usually less than 5 minutes after I email or call. Usually email because you're providing them with the requesting broker's info.

    Progressive has an automated system where you can generate these yourself but I've never had any luck with it. I just call my agent.
