2017 Terrastar Maxxforce Error code

    Hey guys getting a a SPN 0051 FMI 7 error code. something to do with the throttle position. Code clears once the vehicle is stopped and started again. Is is safe to drive with this error code, want to get it over to a ITA service center but it's about 50 miles away

    FMI 7 - Not responding properly. 51 - Throttle actuator sensor circuit. How does the truck run when the light is on? If ok, I would drive a short distance and see how it responds. You should be ok, I would drive it but cautiously. In the very unlikely event it really starts to act up you can always turn the key off but not all the way. What is called KOEO, key on engine off.

    It seems to drive fine, just not sure if driving for a 50 miles distance would be an issue. I guess I will give it a go and see what happens.
