I currently have a Peterbilt 389 with a self-adjusting clutch and now I'm getting to the age where pressing the clutch down gets too hard on the knees, does anyone how we make the clutch easier to press down? Peterbilt is old-school in that they have no hydraulic or air assist. I have Eaton on self-adjusting clutch 15.5 2050 part 309-701-35, is there anyone we can add an air-aid or hydraulic assist in it to make it easier to press? If there are any solutions please let me know. other than lubrication because I do that consistently. If you guys know anyone willing to add a hydraulic assist or air assist to it please let me know.
Also I have heard about the easy clutch from Eaton, how better is that vs the self-adjusting one I have currently in terms of ease of pressing down?
Thanks

I have an old Volvo truck and got air assisted clutch cylinder installed at this shop. They had to drill the frame and install brackets from a Freightliner, but everything works great and the clutch pedal is so light now, a child can press it with a hand.

All our petes have air assist clutch. Should be possible.
