I had a few Canadian deliveries in Canada in my reefer days. Usually just over the border in British Columbia but the best was going up to Kelowna Canada. One of the best deliveries of my career.

You need to show a vaccination pass or card to pass over north?Redtwin Thanks this.

Not anymore. They did away with that late last year. It was pretty easy even when they had the restriction as there was an app you upload all your info to and when you get to the border they have it all in front of them on their computers. Majority of the time it's a 1 minute process for them to scan your passport and e-manifest then send you on your way.
Very rarely would I get an officer that wanted to play 20 questions with me. The key thing to note is that many times they already have the info, they are just trying to see if you try to omit or hide anything from them.
Only time I have ever been detained at the border is when the customs broker dropped the ball and didn't submit all the proper paperwork. It was nothing to do with me personally.Tanker_82 and RussianBearTruckeR Thank this. -
Passport is all you need now. I think FAST is for coming back to the US, never seen any signage mentioning it going into Canada. Either way, I don't have FAST and it isn't an issue.RussianBearTruckeR Thanks this.

What is the OTR Pump division? Does that mean I’ll be handling a lot hoses?

Can anyone elaborate on the pet policy? Is there a weight limit or breed restriction? Can you bring a dog or a cat?Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

I don't run a pump truck, but I imagine you have to handle hoses if the job entails pumping product.
-
I don't have any details, best bet is to call recruiting. See lots of drivers with dogs, but can't imagine cats aren't allowed also.CalculatedRisk and JForce28 Thank this.

I don't recall. Sorry.

Do you ever end up with the short end of the stick with that deal, shuttling some load from a yard the last 100 miles or so to its destination for live unload? Or vice versa?
