What was the point of increasing speed limits in a lot of the states?

Frankly, putting speed limiters is not going to help. People will still crash.
I firmly believe we need better training for the new guys.

 

Training doesn’t guarantee they’ll give a crap, once on their own. Training/education has been preached as the way to change about every topic from sex, drugs, violence, trafficking, etc, and it’s all as bad as ever.

 

Easy way to fix this problem... Remove ALL warning labels, nanny/limiting, and so called saftey devises from EVERYTHING amd let natural selection run its course... Id say about 10 to 15 years and the entire world would look alot smarter.

 

I would be up for that as long as the innocent motorist isn’t caught up in the fubar that’s going to happen.

Do they not realize if all trucks are governed to the same seed limit, it would cause major highway congestion and lots of pissed off 4wheelers.

 

Yes they have and it was like 10 % of crashes found the trucker at fault, but it doesn't matter, there has been an anti trucker stance since the 80s due to the rapid growth of civilian traffic who sees trucks as nothing but obstacles and danger on the interstate. Truck drivers are also a minority and have no defense against any anti trucker laws which is why abuse of drivers is so rampant in the industry by shippers and companies. These changes will come whether we want them or not because we have no say in the matter. Thank Ronald Reagan, bill clinton and all the greedy wall street pigs for the craphole the trucking industry and the country overall has become for sending all our manufacturing to china and now that they have built china into a military and economy superpower, expect your children and grandchildren to go die in a war to protect their preciousTaiwan from big bad china.

 

Drive through Ontario or Quebec once. You'll understand very quickly why it's a horrible idea
