Drivers beware of LMD Logistics Inc based out of Lyons,il. It will save your life!!! So I started with them about 3 weeks ago. They are one of those foreign owned companies. Serbian to be exact. I reached out to them to see what their operation was all about and they have a rental agreement with drivers that you get paid 80% of the load and $700 truck rental payments every week. Along with the truck rent payments you have to pay for your own fuel, tolls, and $250 escrow/security deposit for 10 weeks and also other deductions. So I tried it out and when everything checked out with my background they called me and offered me the job. So they asked me if I could pay for my own flight to Chicago. That was a no go. I told them I couldn't do it and they eventually paid for it. That was the first red flag I looked past very foolishly smh. So they fly me out and everything and put me in a high mileage hunk of junk international truck. The tires on the truck were bad, the radio didn't work, one of the mirrors on hood of the truck was taped and replaced with a #### beauty mirror of some sort lol the cruise control didn't work, the sleeper vents for air/heat didn't work, the eld tablet on the truck didn't work, and the truck did not come with an interver. Now throughout the few weeks I spent with these imbeciles I had to literally call them everyday to fix these issues and the only thing they fixed was the tires which was the most important issue. So as the days past and I start running loads I'm thinking I'm gonna be making good money and running good loads. The highest paying load I had with them was $1800 which isn't nothing with all the deductions for everything. Most of the loads they gave me were $900 and some $1200. Mind you that the whole time I was there they never fixed the cruise control nor did they have an Inverter or apu installed on the truck so I decided to idle for comfortability. So day in and day out I'm calling these people everyday to fix the truck issues and give me better loads. The first week I'm supposed to get paid I literally had to beg the accounting lady to send me my pay statement which she eventually did and when I took a look at it wasn't even close to the money I thought I'd be making. So when payday came on Friday I didn't even see the little money that I had made because she stated it would take 1-3 business days for the money to appear in my bank account. This was another big red flag. Never have I been with a company that I should get paid on payday and I have to wait a couple days for the money to get to my account. So that Friday pasted and the weekend passed and then Monday comes and I still don't see the money so i start to panick lol I'm calling them left and right see what's going on and no one is answering. Then Tuesday and Wednesday comes and I finally get some communication but not from the account lady. The #### maintenance man reached out to me and told me to go to a truckstop to get my money through a efs check. I couldn't belive it. So at this point I'm irate and yes I did get the money but I was wondering why I had to go through all of this to do it when I clearly filled out direct deposit info when I started. So after all of this I had enough of the shadiness and ####ery of these people. They are down right scammers that will avoid to pay you or give you any loads that are worth your time. I brought there truck back to the yard near Chicago where they told me to bring it and I ran as fast as I could and never looked back. I felt entitled to write this review just because I would hate for anyone else to experience this, especially if you live out of state and not in the Chicago/Illinois area. I paid for my own flight back home and never looked back. Please avoid LMD logistics inc. Avoid their ads posted on Craigslist or indeed or any that they post on the internet. They are not what they say they are. They do not have the trucks that they say they have. They will not pay you for the work you've done. They will not solve any issues if you reach out to them. They do not have any morals, no integrity, no respect, no communication, and most important they do not have a legit business. If you do decide to try them out make sure you tread softly and read over everything that they're trying to sale you so you won't be ####ed over. Make sure you have a backup plan and make sure you have money in your pockets before you start with them. Avoid LMD logistics inc by any means necessary.

Who in their right mind pays 700 a week for an old, busted up International? That’s almost as much as the mega carrier scammers charge to lease a brand new truck.

Someone who made a stupid decision my guy. If you red my review you would understand I made gullible decision and was influenced by the act of just making good money. I had no idea that I was gonna be put in that kind of truck. I thought it would be farely new. Thats what I was trying to explain in the review is that they are not an organized group of people. I don't know maybe it was just me. They have a fleet of 30 or more drivers/trucks but I must have got the short end of the stick. The truck ran okay it was just those issues I explained in my post.

And this was my first time trying the whole rental/lease purchase thing. I was newbie to the experience. In the case I wasn't gaining any ownership of the truck. I just wanted them to fix the truck. I didn't mention that I aggressively told them I wanted a better/newer truck throughout the time I spent driving for them

The thing is, there is no really quick path to making good money. I think sometimes thats how drivers get baited into bad situations like this. Drivers need to put in some time at a company to get to where good money is made.

All you had to say was you took a job with a company located in Illinois, who wanted me to pay my own way to get there. Then they offered me truck that was and still is unsafe to drive, and they did not pay me on payday. Done!
