A Friend of mine passed the scene. The patrol car was smashed to bits, he didn’t even know it was a state trooper car it was so tore up. Good the hear he made it out alive. Note the oil all over the side of the truck and road.

Yes, thanks for the correction. Not sure what he was thinking tho, turning in front of the truck like that. We have enough 4 wheelers doing stupid stuff every day. Who knows - this could go either way.

 

Quite true. Article stated that the officer was responding to a call and his emergency lights were activated. Usually most people fall back and reduce speed in anticipation of a police vehicle getting ready to turn at a median but most police officers do that from the left lane,not from the right!

 

He’s a 22yr-old kid. I didn’t have a lot of common sense at that age, either.
