I saw something that looked real similar to this at the Wally-world DC in E. Stroudsburg, PA a few years back (like back when I was still driving, haha). Looked like it would work real good. I'm OUT!

In late January, 2011, thirty one state trucking associations asked Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and National Highway Safety Administration to look into the safety issues presented by ice and snow blowing off motor vehicles. Three states, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut have already passed laws imposing fines for not removing snow or ice from a car or truck. The associations pointed out that it is a safety issue but not one that can be solved by truckers. They asked the two agencies to work with truckers, automotive engineers and car and truck manufacturers to develop solutions. These most likely would be vehicle specific, designed into the vehicle, in ways that would prohibit the accumulation of snow or ice or a mechanism to remove it. We need to be supportive of this effort. Much like ICC bars and conspicuity tape on the sides of trailers, standards for snow and ice eliminators need to be established on the national level.
