I like the idea of the big ball because of no need for a brake chamber to take the slack out of the hitch. I called Cornhusker and they said the big ball style was discontinued in 2019 and he has none of the trailer part of the hitch. He said they’re, “obsolete”. My options are find a good used one, one that’s never been mounted or switch my truck over to the pintle style. 565D646A-F8CD-4821-B829-7802B98F1981.png

Switch to pintle. You'll be able to tow equipment trailers if you ever branch out. Also, if you sell truck, it's probably more desirable. The extra brake chamber isn't that big of a deal or you can just get a hitch without the air system.

Never seen one of those before, interesting. But I would convert to a pintal hitch, just more common, guess there is a reason for that.

That I guess is my only choice and the game plan, as I order a 50 ton pintle, with brake assist, the other day.
