Now the real fasizz of the day. Our load was delivering this am at Vistar (Roma) in Springfield, MO. Since my GPS didn't find the exact address, one a couple of numbers short, I asked for macro 62, maptuit directions. OMG!

Whenever my Garmin trys to take me through a neighborhood, I say, No Way No Jose, but when the JCT directions matched my Garmin I made the left turn into the neighborhood thinking the roads would widen up. Wrong! Terribly, terribly wrong.

Directions: Turn Left on Mahn - Turn Left on Helen - Arrive at Vistar.

No the golf cart lane was way too small, but I was stuck, I had to turn or park on the railroad tracks (the reason the directions were wrong - apparently they didn't know the road didn't cut through). So I did, I got stuck, and had to call a wrecker.
First time in my life, even through all those snows, today the ground was dry and I still bone headed it into the ditch. It was only about 3 ft deep but my tandems were off the ground and I couldn't back out without being a power pole with me.

Good news, McDowell Towing were semi-quick and very reasonable. Total bill $340.00
    My embarrassment unbelievably deep.:biggrin_25521:

Were there no directions available on macro 12 option c?? Those directions r put in system by previous drivers that's been there b4. The maptuit directions r just like ur gps directions.

As a newbie, I simply forgot they offered two options. The option 12 was kindly sent to me after I was in the ditch.:biggrin_25523:
