Thanks for the info. These are some of the things I am hoping to gain a better grasp of at the school.

And I forgot to mention I drove a cargo van at one point so I have a little experience with shippers/consignees as far as making sure the freight that gets loaded matches the dims and delivery addresses on the paperwork, looking for damages to the freight, making sure the load is secure and most importantly making sure you get a pod.

When you pre plan the run what are the things to plan for? Is it like fuel stops, avoiding certain metro areas during certain times, planning after hours instructions type stuff or mainly what I am wondering is are there any tricks to planning the run?
