Can doctors not tell you what is wrong with you because Medicaid will not pay them for treatment? I am asking this because after normal MRI of my brain and ultrasound of my neck they put the blame for my symptoms on anxiety and depression. I have been on their meds for two weeks now and I am still dizzy and have blurry vision.

Can a doctor hide a diagnosis from a patient?
"
Withholding medical information from patients without their knowledge or consent is ethically unacceptable. Physicians should encourage patients to specify their preferences regarding communication of their medical information, preferably before the information becomes available.Rahat Thanks this. -

What there is truly no shortage of are patients who expect doctors to give them a diagnosis that the patient feels comfortable with.
There is also no shortage of hypochondriacs and drama seekers who use medical facilities to enhance what they see as serious medical problems when the real problem is between the patient's ears.gokiddogo, blairandgretchen, buddyd157 and 10 others Thank this. -
They usually try the easy fixes first, just to see if they work
Get a follow up appointment and tell them it didn't work, they need a better plan -
