Is there a way to utilize the search function to simply hone in on one discussion that is multiple hundreds of pages to find the individual posts containing a certain keyword?

Just type it into the search function without selecting titles only. Click on the one you're looking for and it will go straight to that post. You may have to select the "more" option after clicking the search icon. This is the screen you should get
