Yea Sir, the new shaft came with the little plastic package of grease.

I doubt it ever was greased after it left the factory, I know the “parts replacer” we had at EZ sure as hell didn’t.

I use to get so aggravated with him, spend a whole day trying to find a part cheaper than the one 15 minutes away. By the time you add his wages you were still paying more than the part locally.

Then he would bi!!ch to the office that us guys who were union making more $$ than him were at the shop working on equipment….. equipment that he had all frigg’n week to get ready, and we had to leave Sunday to be at the job 780 miles away on Monday morning.

Blue butt splices…. I hate them MF’rs like a passion!!!! That’s all he would use under a trailer or truck knowing it was exposed to rain and salt, guess we was smart actually, job security….!!!

Big end dumps are best left in the yard, throw the scrap metal in it till it fills up, then take to the scrap yard un-hook and leave it there.
I dislike those things with a passion from the slash hauling days.

 

Wonder if all these are from the same company.

BTW, I didn't shut it off all the way home from Oregon cause I figured it would be locked up after a few minutes. Just tried to turn it over. It's locked

 

When the gasket comes without bolt holes, and you forgot to pick up a extra bag of predrilled bolt holes in town….

 

Mmmm, not an R but still looks good…..

 

Coolant in the cylinders causing hydrostatic lock…?
