Thing is, you have to have fresh bolt holes. You buy a big bag, use some, set it up on the shelf, then go try to use them later and they are all dried out and cracked.
-
You are correct Sir, and I hate to see things go to waste…..
cke, Big Road Skateboard, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this. -
Dad stored them in coffee cans, but I didn't know what they were for and just used the cans for other stuff.cke, CAXPT, Brettj3876 and 3 others Thank this.

I missed the old girl, dad stole it from me this week Lol. Doing the local 30mi shuttle tonight and tomorrow. Just got back from jersey at 2:30pm. We both went to the same place a hour apart this morning. He ran into pa and picked up some aerospace stuff. Thank god for these few dedicated moves we have. That load board is looking piss poor.
cke, Elroythekid, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -
Speaking of dropping in the gravel, those extendable magnets have came to be one of my favorite tools lol. Shame they don’t work on predrilled holes though….. -
Yeah. When i pulled the exhaust manifold, coolant poured from #5. It's ready to pull the head, but i can't get the tractor in the barn, and the cherry picker jack quit.
Wife has gone to pick up a new jack, and we'll see what caused it in the am -
Super 40s at 3.73 will work, 3.90 is better.
46k rears is an option for off road work.
13 speed is a minimum, 18 speed is better, 9 or 10 speed is not a good idea at more than 100k.cke, Isafarmboy, Feedman and 7 others Thank this. -
I think what's got me think'n is I do end off off pavement with mats, concrete forms, smaller equipment. My little 1350tq with a major lack of compression, (judging by the amount of blow-by
) she struggles when soft or slightly hilly to get moving..
Food for thought..
An rtlo18913A has a low hole of 12.51 to 1. With 3.36 makes a total reduction of about 42 to 1..
I got a goofy rtx14609R with 1st (no low hole) being 10.70 to 1 with 3.70 rears, for 39.59 to 1.. Maybe that's partly why I feel underpowered lifting off near 80k gross..?
Heck, I'm closer than I wanna be!! Lol
Idaho Falls for Monday AM..
Granite slabs
cke, Swine hauler, Big Road Skateboard and 9 others Thank this.
