That’s only till I bid it down to $1.99. Lol. Better watch out Tall Joe, I’ve already been to your town 3 times this year. Tell your buddy in Indy, I’ve been seen around the loop there also. Lol. I actually have had good experiences so far in Chicago. It’s been a while. Not as bad as they say it is. Been getting right in and out. Even took. 290, and through the loop. Barely hit the brakes. Just like old times. Hammered down!!! Even made a last minute Chicago exit, from a few lanes over, just for fun. Lol.

    TallJoe and Siinman Thank this.

I have never been north to that area and stayed. I love the FL beach more than anyone that I have been to. Perfect air all year round.

    That's so good.
You write your story and I write mine.
    Ha ha ha ha
    What does it matter?
I am not buying a new truck on the account of your testimonies here. I mean...you live in your matrix and I live in my matrix.
    But I like beaches too.
    Ha ha ha

Well I would hope not. I was just pointing out I run 2 weeks a month mostly and you said I was lying. I told you a thread I created that shows my movement to show you I was not lying. You made it out that you had to work way more if you have a new truck and I am pointing out you don't. No big deal to me at all!

Oh...they are more majestic than the ones in Florida...imo.they are more surrounded by high dunes and forests. They're less contaminated by the tourist architecture, some of them are parts of the state parks.
However, you won't breath in that iodized air that comes with the salty sea water.

I don't sit in my truck on Saturdays or Sundays that is still under warranty and have a less than 40k loan balance... But i'll do a few Saturdays on shuttles from the plant to cold storage from June to October if my long time customer needs it. 18 mile round trips at a nice daily rate....

i’ve owned all makes and anything from 89 all the way up to 2020. I make more money with new than I do old. Just about anyone who has purchased a new truck will tell you the same thing. I don’t recall criticizing you for running an older truck. Stop trying to take some fake moral high road.

Any place you would suggest? I might try and make some trips north this summer to check some of that out.

Right, my escrow is higher than P&I. It’s crazy. 3.375% interest, balance of $89k. Value at $260k, ( for now anyways). Doesn’t matter what the housing market does. I’m in the black, especially since I’ll be downsizing if We ever decide to sell. It’s a 2 story house. Never again. I prefer ranches. Houses like Trucks should be bought to fit your lifestyle. Not on speculation, or expected profits. Nothing beats having one paid for. That’s my goal now. One way if another. I cringe at the thought of when I had a $1700 Truck payment and a $1500 house payment at once. Looking back, I’m reminded of one of my Dads favorite sayings. “What was I thinking?” Lol. It’s tough out there in housing. It will most likely correct itself soon. People are already getting pushed out if the Market. There’s going to be some pain involved. Glad it’s not mine.

I will never own a used truck again. I plan on getting new every time before warranty runs out. To me the cost is just the cost to be in business. I pride myself in being on time no matter what as long as it is under my control. Of course if they close down the roads I can't do my job and they can understand that. Now if I can go around it and make it happen in the same time frame needed than I would do that to.
