No even close.
One handles money, the other doesn't. If you don't understand the difference, then i can see what your problem is. You have no concept of fiduciary responsibility.
Brokers offer transparency. Imagine that!

Instead of crying about what someone makes, cut out their job and make more money. Wait, you're not capable of it so it's better to complain about what they do for you.
-
It is not like that.
The example is to tell you that everyone takes their trade knowing what hardships they would deal with. And this should not affect more or less an established hierarchy or order of esteem and expected rewards. A shepherd dog, watching the herd, won't be richer than the owner of the herd, but it must be given a deserved ball of food vs...say cocker spaniel that spends the whole day on the farmer's wife lap. -
So don't expect more because you don't do the work it takes to get those loads. You're the ####er spaniel on the farmers lap.Siinman and Jubal Early Times Thank this.

I would not call it crying or complaining. I'd call it discussing what the wishful, yet universally fair, order of things ought to be from my point of you.
You afraid of the word 'fair' I see...I did not invent that word. -
Because fair share is a term the weak use to justify taking from someone else that produces something they can't/won't do.
There is no law that states you must use a broker.Long FLD, Siinman, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hardly. I am about to finish this chicken salad and set off to pick up that load Columbus OH for $955. That's how much they had in it.
I am the shepherd dog that's a little disappointed with what's in the bowl.
That cocker spaniel, on the other hand, must have had a feast. -
Said many times, go out and solicit your own customers. Then no one is making money off of you.(LOL)
But you ignore that solution, instead demanding that someone else do that job for you for a price you determine.kwswan, Siinman, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sooner or later, the hungry shepherd dog will inevitably eat the cocker spaniel...that's quite fair, that would not surprise anybody, that's how things work in nature.
Let's not be afraid of the fair. The fair implies the nature of things. -
Again, give a reason why you will not put in the effort to get your own customers?
And not the BS that no one will deal with only one truck, I know far too many that have their own.Siinman, Oxbow and Jubal Early Times Thank this.
