Ok guys it's Saturday and I'm home with my wife. the orientation was nice, fun and informative. Must say I for one can't say one bad thing about the orientation or the people who taught it. OK maybe just one the orientation pay sucks, but then again it's better than CR-England lol. I go back to New Brunswick,NJ on Monday to get my truck, I didn't get dispatch out Friday because of the weather. so we were told the ones who live close could go home if we could get a ride and come back on Monday.
so I came home for the weekend. :)

Thats great! You should be home on a regular basis (weekends) seeing you live so close.

.35 cpm to start is pretty decent as well.

The truck you get will be older than the 1 I drive but check it out carefully and be sure to write up anything mechanically wrong with it. Get it fixed and take care of it and it WILL make you money.

I spent my first 3 years here driving around in the smaller bunk trucks. As long as you realize it is temporary you will be fine. Most new drivers seem to make it into a newer truck (2006 model) within the first year.
