I used to use my TV card, and stream things over the net, but I switched to downloading series and stuff while Im away, then copying them over to my laptop when I get home. Just finished Star Trek TNG, putting that on now. And have all the Simpsons, Futurama, X-Files, Top Gear, and MythBusters. Then for my flatscreen its just a 26" computer monitor I leave on the bed when Im driving. 2 minutes to set everything up.

I bought a big cutting board at walmart, I put that on the pull out desk, put my laptop and mouse on that, and my screen sits in front of that on the spot the TV is supposed to go in a Prostar, plenty of room. I also have a keyboard I can connect and set on the laptop. Its nice when I want to chat on MSN, or surf the web of play Mass Effect 2 :D

My laptop has a card that pops into the side that makes it emulate TV. Slip it in, plug in the antenna, grab the remote and start watching TV.

This is how I communicate with my wife and friends when I'm on the road. I take the small netbook it's a mini 10v form dell it have a built in webcam with built in mic so I can video chat using msn, yahoo and others.
I also use it for copilot and watching tv I also have added gadgets I use like portable HHD,DVD burner, folding keyboard and tv tuner form WIN V-HVR . Now just like you my biggest problem is bandwidth, This is what I use for internet I use my cell phone I have T-MOBILE, well watching netflix
with this setup is impossible so thank god for my Pilot card or TA card lol.
I'm still working on the solution when I get it figured out Ill let you guys know. Any Ideas on that sling shot card by the way??
