USPS uses contactors and requires 12 mos experience.

 

3 down and 9 to go. Postal service hires their own drivers also i believe. I applied for what appeared to be a local position and was told the same in a very nice, professional, timely and courteous letter.

Although you will be home every night. USPS is low pay for a CDL holder. Buddy tried to talk me into joining USPS. But when he told me the pay, I said it wasn't worth leaving where I was at.

 

Pay isn't everything. And few understand what it REALLY pays. You would have to consider in locality pay

Tried, but the wind wouldn't cooperate. Finally gave up and returned to Sint Maarten.
