Oh, I don't know.....how about jamming the frequency so truckers in my local area cannot talk? He is supposedly in New Mexico and I am in South Carolina. That is way too far for a "barefoot" radio to get out consistently, every single day. There's no way in hell a 65 watt radio is going to get out that amount of distance. -
-
Has the new @Gadfly resurrected ? Btw, whatever happened to Gadfly ?
-
He's a fly alright, but not a gadfly. Another kind of fly
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
If I was the average person with a little bit of common sense, I would be more concerned about how he achieves what he does without bleeding on adjacent channels or out of band using a cheap Chinese export radio.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
I sense someone who's been drinking the Mark Sherman koolaid a bit too much.Timin770 Thanks this. -
I wouldn't call 74 miles out of a barefoot Freightliner Cascadia without line of sight Kool-Aid. When you can replicate this, your opinion will matter. Until then, I sense someone that's jealous they can't achieve this.
-
Try DOUBLE that distance out of a true barefoot, out of the box Icom 2 meter HAM Radio. I can achieve much longer distances than you think. But I'm not the one using a modified radio. There is no jealousy, only your ignorance in thinking a HAM Radio is a CB Radio. -
Oh oh, here we go again.
Diesel Dave and Crude Truckin' Thank this.
