I was just curious if anybody worked for them that’s on here? I would like to ask a driver some questions regarding their experience with the company.

I would look somewhere else. I used to run for NCI back the early 2000's as a driver working for a small fleet owner. Thats when NCI was primary an O/O company before company or lease trucks. The O/O's made good money and the guy I worked for was fantastic. ( Joe Kelly) who had over 30 trucks leased onto NCI. The miles and fright were good. Never sat for long periods of time. The issue was NCI itself. They went from a small outfit who cares, to treating drivers and O/O's as a number. They pushed the lease program when I was there and then went to company trucks after I left, Most long time O/O's went somewhere else due to losing money and the way the company turned into. It went from large cars, decked out petes and KW to absolute garbage. They dont back their drivers. I left in 03.

To this day, I see nothing but junk O/O trucks with majority company trucks running the roads. Defiantly nothing "elite" about the "elite fleet". If you have good experience and a good driving record, I would look elsewhere.

I been working with them since 2018 they’ve treated me well. We run t680s and electric APUs for now. I hear the newer t680s are going to be Cummings engines. Dispatchers treat you good if you don’t miss appointments and aren’t picky about where you’re willing to run. Got anymore questions ask away.

I was told that there is a Georgia regional. What is that? Also, do you guys have a lot of freight in and out of Florida?

I never heard of a Georgia only regional. But I do know they have a south east regional lane and many dedicated options depending on what state. I’m more knowledgeable of the goings on in the north east since I run local here. The company is owned by national beef which delivers beef to just about any state so I’m willing to bet if you need something to stay running between Georgia and Florida you could run a dedicated position doing the finals for the beef loads in those states (helps keep the team drivers constantly moving). You will need to start out as OTR for a first couple months so they can gauge how well you operate but after your probationary period you can talk to your dispatcher about finding a different lane maybe to something that’s home weekends.

Oldest trucks they got are the 2020’s and they’re turning those in lately. They don’t like keeping the trucks past 400k miles. Think it’s because of the paccar motors but the new trucks are now coming with Cummings engines so not sure if they’ll keep them longer.

Decent. Trustmark thru Aetna. When I got struck with Covid and put in the hospital for nearly a month found out later it was out of network bill was like 180k I only had to pay 8k and that’s cause I initially chose a cheaper plan.
