Because when you hit a pothole the tire bounce up in the air for a fraction of a second but is enough for the sensor to detect a slip,
rain or snow is obviously slippery so, no worries it's how suppose to work..

On the older Volvo I would say ecm harness itself or connections to batteries, on the new ones I am not sure hows everything connected

Thanks very much I appreciate the response. I know somwere loos wire in harnesses probably abs . But I thought maybe someone else had identical issue and if they repaired it I can go straight to the location. And not have to look everywhere.

    Try tightening battery wires first

Got in a new VNL this past August and the battery cables were loose. So were some of the hose clamps on the coolant hoses. Must be some limp wristed MF'ers in Virginia these days! LOL!!!!!!

You shouldn’t be needing to shut off the engine and restart. Once the system detects things returned to normal, it should automatically reset and allow full functioning of everything.

Like others said most likely wiring issue or battery wiring not tight. Any codes?
