Lease owner or own authority

now my friend your going to hear all kinds of tales about owning your own authority ive had mt authority for quite a while and it works for me BUT let me tell you it is not a magic bullet.

true the money is better and you can haul for yourself or a truck broker and even get your own clients to haul for but it is not easy you still have to work at it and you still have to look to find loads and you even have more paper work although not much only you can tell if its right for you.

i have my own authority because i have my own trailers so i dont have to lease, leasing is never a good thing if your in the business of making money.

and getting your own authority dosent cost much and it enabels you to be independent . what you need to do is decide what type of business you want , to be independent or just a driver and lease to a company.

i think you will find that with your own trailer and your own authority you will find with your independence also comes more money even if ytou use a broker you will make more money, if you dont mind working i think you will find its a good thing.
