LOL! A lot of the guys I work with on the Slope frequent that establishment when they fly into Anchorage for a hot toddy before home(they do have a DD).

OMG...some of the stories! LMAO! Thank gawd no one is dumb enough to get photo documentation!! It's all good! Nothing *that* bad (or good depending on how ya look at it!

When you talked to the "permit people " in canada did any of them mention insurance ?
I know BC has some weird rules , either you register your insurance with them well in advance or they want you to buy a temporary policy. SK may be the same.

If you can only pull 20,000 on spread axle, how much can you put on closed axle. I have always to take a ride up there. Looking forward to more info. Thanks

 

I'm assuming it is 34k to 40k but with a permit I hauled a load into Ontario and Quebec with 54k on my tandems and over 100k gross. Don't know if that is possible in all provinces? If you have the extra hole to make a 6' canadian spread or you run a tri axle I'm sure its much higher. A canadian spread is essentially a triaxle missing the center axle.

if you go make roads you travel on in Sk can take your weights, roads are diff. class, as winter weights will be removed March 05, 2010 # 12.01am untill around Nov. ? 2010.
Now (friday) i will be putting on more miles as most roads will be limited!
Make sure your route is what Sk. calls primary roads! Would PM you but ? not enough! LOL
