Understanding microvolts doesn't make me necessarily smarter than everyone else. It simply means I understand what my receiver is capable of listening to. When I can listen to voices weaker than the level of noise in your receiver, it means I can hear things you will never hear even if we were parked right next to each other. It doesn't take a genius to understand that concept.
That 74 mi video should have been pretty self-explanatory when you can hear and understand what is being said without any signal registering on the meter.

Look, dude, no one does.
The best people can do is a scientific guess with solid data from beacons and forecasting, nothing else.
We know for the last century about most of what could be but there are things that the RF creature can't be predicted.
When someone makes the claim that you did, shows me two things, you are clueless and immature.
Your ticket doesn't mean you passed this fantastically hard test and have this wealth of knowledge, it means you have a stepping stone for more learning about your chosen hobby. -
Yes, you're right. Dishonest people do things like that. That's where money factors into the equation. You need to ask yourself is someone trying to make money or is someone trying to help people save money. If that person has a long history of telling people to purchase something from Amazon or eBay at the cheapest possible price and keep their money in their pocket instead of going to a high priced technician for a "tweak and peak" chances are pretty good that person isn't trying to con people out of money. But on the other hand, if someone recommends a technician without any proof of that person's qualifications to improve performance, maybe that person is a scammer.

At what point did I say I know EVERYTHING there is to know? All I said that I know more about it and you have no clue as to the knowledge I have. You are just making baseless claims at this point and want to argue with someone for no particular reason but to make yourself seem validated. -
That's a bold claim for someone who's still a Technician. You've been licensed since at least 2017, and you haven't managed to upgrade to at least General class with all that knowledge?rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Nope, 2007 and as I have said before I stay busy with other things. You know....I have a life that does not revolve 100% around radios. It is called a hobby, not a life.
