Ive had many long hours to come up with colorful and ever raunchier heart felt and discriptive ways to discribe my pure hate, contempt and loathing for this engine while working on it. This is one of the nicer ones im FAIRLY sure wont get me a forum vacation.Phoenix Heavy Haul, Feedman, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this.

Huh so your telling me that Johnny law is gonna pull me over and write me a ticket because my mechical motor had smoke come out my pipes when I shifted ?
Whats he gonna ticket me for ?
Is he gonna get out his tool box and check the timming on my motor or pull my air filters and check them
Or is he just gonna write me a ticket for improper mangement of a mechical motor ?
I want you to show me a specific law Iam violating
Iam not talking about the state of Commieforia either
Do you drink bud light to try to wash down the smoke I'am Spewing out my pipes ?
Cause thats gota be kinda hard to hug a tree with a bud light in your handPhoenix Heavy Haul, nikmirbre, RockinChair and 4 others Thank this. -
You didn't seem to comprehend what I wrote. I was differentiating between some slight haze coming out of a mechanical engine and full on belching clouds of thick black smoke just because you think it looks cool.

Show me where I used the words ... [ it's cool to belch thick black smoke ] I simply said I enjoy doing it just to piss off people like you
Your the 1 that is reading comprehension challenged
Still wait'n for you to show the law you claim I'am breakingLast edited by a moderator: Apr 9, 2023

To do the smoke test on a mechanical engine they have to first verify it has a high idle govnor or set limit. If it doesn’t no test. Been through that hauling butcher cows out in. New York and PA. Also you only have to meet the opacity specifications for your year model.
Mine is a 1991 barely smokes ever. It wasn’t bought to skirt or not have to comply with anything. Or to be exempt from anything I owned it way before all that. Now I still get to run my business in any manor I want here in America as long as I’m not breaking any laws. It’s Asinine for you to think I need to buy a truck so you don’t get lung cancer, then try to convince me I’m the douche for not caring about others. Your right I am that guy I haven’t lost my care to give never had it there is a differencePhoenix Heavy Haul, nikmirbre, Feedman and 7 others Thank this. -
The next time I trade I'm going back to gas. A diesel pick up just isn't worth the cost or the trouble.ducnut, Phoenix Heavy Haul, Jubal Early Times and 2 others Thank this.

On one hand I hate how unreliable these emissions trucks are. But every once in awhile I get reminded that it’s not that bad when some guy with a old iron but a POS truck parks next to me and has some awkward side mounted exhaust or weed burner blowing it right into my cab having to force me to move to another spot cause it’s giving me a headache.
Honestly I take that back we should just make weed burners illegal. The exhaust needs to aim up.northstarfire0693, ducnut and RockinChair Thank this.
