It's not a person.
I've read about the "killer potato" on other sites. It'a an actual potato loaded up with everything but the kitchen sink. I believe it's prepared at some restaurant that they take the students to.

wats up fellas, i'll be brief cause i am having to prepare to head back for monday. the class size is 4 there was suppose to be 5 but the other didn't show. we did alott of paper work, log-books & test monday. tuesday we were actually out on the range going through gears then we drove around an area that is about 50 or 75 miles or so. wednesday we done map & trip planning. thursday also done more of the same. friday we went down to hammondville alabama to a little place called "shortys cafe". greg said he had taken his classes down & that they were closing this saturday. all in all it is something i wish i had done a long time ago... I tried to look for you spanky but didn't see you man. maybe spot you this coming week. good-luck kenkenni & you to rixter & everyone else, i think we all made a good decision.

as far as first year pay i would say mid thirties is more realistic. been staying busy yes they are watching things pretty close right now but i cant complain they have been keeping me busy still.
-
i was wondering if millis would hire me,i have my cdlbut no experiance. also what kinda of physical do they do? do they do the heart rate test? i can pass the DOT physical no problem, just not sure of the heart rate one.
-
yes they will curlyjoe. when you do a physical they will check your blood preassure and heart rate along with your eyes ears and all that.
-
hey mceheel. have u heard any talk of the ny accident? guess they are watching guys pretty close as far as logs etc...are you going to be able to get out with a trainer right away?
-
wats up rixter, yea there is much talk about, but any accident down there is pretty big. they really preach SAFETY down there. i met my trainer who is from blue ridge ga. i will finish school on the 17th of march and my trainer said he would pick me up anywhere from the 20th to the 22nd of march... he only lives about 3hrs from where i live. yea you can get hooked up with a trainer as soon as school is over.
-
Yeah that one was pretty bad. They set u up with the trainer already? thats encouraging, you won't have to sit around waiting for the call and you get a couple days home before taking off. How do the other guys like it? it seems in these threads that usually 1-2 leave while in class. Thats great you sound really pumped on your new career. I am excited also, but may be a little nervous, when you do something for 20 years and then go to something completely different, you ????? the change. When I get 50 posts i will have to shoot u my # to stay in touch. what did you do before this?
-
Hey spanky, well thats good ur still busy, when are they going paperless? have you heard anything? how do the miles look from here through summer? expect it to get a little better? thanks.
