After watching 1/2 the video, I would have just dropped my BRIGHT EYES.
Other would have kept going and peace would have returned.

Is traffic in Canada so sparse that people feel comfortable passing on a double yellow line? Serious question as I've never driven there, but I assume the lines mean the same thing as they do here in America.
If someone comes around me in that situation regardless of what country I'm in, I'm on the brakes. It's not worth my life to compete with them.Another Canadian driver, Val_Caldera, Magoo1968 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Parts of it are sparsely populated however not nearly sparse enough to warrant passing on solid yellow especially with blind curves in the road. There are fatal accidents regularly because of stunts like these. Trucking here is being taken over by what I refer to people as "new Canadians" and they drive like they did wherever they came from. When law enforcement tries to do anything they play the racism or bigotry card or whatever the word is I'm just a stupid white boy, therefore whatever opinions I have based on my observations out here aren't worth diddly.
It isn't uncommon to see "drivers" doing what I call the 100 mile pass both driving against the 105 km/h governor even on skinny 2 lane roads like these.
My blood begins to boil just thinking about it.Another Canadian driver, bzinger, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -
So nothing has changed, same has been said, for YEARS, in the Lower 48:

"When law enforcement tries to do anything they (the foreigners) play the racism or bigotry card or whatever the word is."
I'm SURE, in the Canadian Outback there are those Officers and related who LOVE when people run the racial/bigotry crud. I could see how attitudes could be controlled, especially at night, way out in the weeds.
Sir Are You AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS, Hmmm??
I recall in L.A. County Jail (Los Angeles, Calif main lockup), one time in '76 and there were some added exercises, being told by MANY different Inmates about The GOON SQUAD. "You don't wanna see them, so keep yur stuff straight. They come round midnight".
Just a group of otherwise friendly (not really) Police and Sheriff (also Law Enforcement Training Center, So ALL Police and Sheriff had non happy attitudes) who "take matters into their own hands" with unruly, disobedient inmates through creative exercises, like shoving an unruly prisoner in shackles down an escalator which isn't operating, or dropped a floor in an elevator shaft or some other feral prisoner attitude adjusting tactic that involved pains and chains, then probably tossed in solitary.
I never heard any screams of terror so maybe nothing happened during my short visits before being bused to a less crowded work camp and those places were not Juvenile Hall ( known as Gladiator Academy up to age 18).
NEVER made it to the "big house".Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Depends where you are and the time of day.
Tourist season sucks ### during daylight hours. All the overseas tourists in the big rented RVs are terrified to drive faster than 85 km/h and usually park in the dumbest places they can find. I came around a blind curve in the highway one afternoon and there was a family standing in the middle of the highway taking pictures of a mountain. Somehow I was the ###hole for laying on the horn as I passed.Val_Caldera, Another Canadian driver, peterd and 3 others Thank this. -
