    how is the work schedule over at qc i seen a local driver in Baltimore,md what is the usual schedule for drivers, Is there good home time because i want to start school on the weekends can anybody help me thanks.

    I don't know about Baltimore but the most part Quality terminals service local shippers and run regional . You'd have to ask at that terminal . I can tell you terminals can't accept applications . Applications have to be done at the company website . If they are approve by corporate (2 years experience , clean MVR , no criminal record ) they are forwarded to a terminal . They are very particular and have 10 times more qualified applications than they expect to have openings for .

    i dont work for QC. but load at some of the same place's. some companys want you clean shaven in case you need to put on your respirator mask. so it seals to your face.

    Ashland Chemical in Neal W Va won't even let you in the gate with more than stubble on your face. They have razors for you to use. If you refuse they turn you away. It's a safety thing relating to the face mask/respirator not being able to seal if you have hair on your face.

    In 2 years at Superior I have only been to 1 plant where they required a shave. I don't know QC's policy but here you can have any facial hair you want so long as you are willing to shave if a plant wants you to. As long as you aren't doing something dedicated to a plant that requires it you could never need to shave.

    one of QC rules is to be clean shave no matter what terminal u run for. a mustache is okay as long it does not over lap the corner of your lips. i work for terminal 733 in johnstown,NY... your question on the Maryland terminal is that most of your work will be out of DOW Chemicals in Baltimore,MD and the school u be going to is in glen burnie,MD with the God Father of the North East JOE,hes the teacher and he him self will shave ur beard if u don't do it your self.
