There sure is no shortage of youtube truck drivers constantly complaining about brokers and how the truck drivers are all dying and starving.. Good god man it's like brain cancer watching some of the videos... I even come across some chick that is a youtube trucker and has an onlyfans and with naked pics ? Wtf is happening to this industry. Lol. Its like the circus went out of business and they jumped into truck ownership...

 

Theyve been watching too many of the youtube truckers stories and believe its easy.

 

I did the outside first because I didn’t want my truck to be a DOT magnet.

 

"Woe is me" is instilled in so many people.

I don't know if they can't see how making a different decision can change an outcome.

Seriously, an OO needs to be playing chess. Too many of these folks have company driver mentality with their own trucks.

 

The one common denominator every single one of those youtubers have, is they fail to take accountability for their own choices.. Its always the brokers fault. Its always the dot's fault. Its always someone elses fault for them getting it shoved up their ###... Even some of the comments on the videos support these mindsets. I cant even begin to understand that.. Its like people wanna start a business with an employee mentality and when the #### hits the fan theres no accountability anywhere . then they wonder why they fail...

 

I get that too. My stuff may be dirty outside(winter), but it doesn't take DOT long to decide they don't need to look very far.

Last one commented on my all new brakes, new Haldex chambers on the truck, and the great tires.

He looked at my truck 5 minutes and put a sticker on the windshield

 

So true man.. I dont claim to know anything about this ####.. But ill be darned if i just sit around and complain about everything and not own up to my own mistakes... But these people even post videos about it and want people to feel sorry for them.. Id be so embarressed man.. id hope one of my real friends would beat the #### out of me if I ever got to that point

 

Its because childen have been raised constantly being told they are special the last few decades. Every kid is a genious and can do anything they set their mind to. They get out in the real world without anyone holding their hand and things start going wrong, it cant be their fault, they are so smart and perfect.

People need to quit telling their kids they can be the next president, or make it as a professional athlete, or get to be an astronaut or top brain surgeon.

 

I see loads I don't want, going to some s***hole like Texas(i despise Texas). Maybe paying decent, but i don't wanna go. Maybe Chicago, or Ohio, wherever. I don't wanna run east of 29.

But, times are different now. Gotta run where the money takes you. Gotta throw 8ft tarps. Gotta do lots of things you'd rather not.

And I start mumbling to myself i don't wanna, then instantly call myself a beech for acting that way.

Ain't nobody calling me out like I will myself.
