I misunderstood your original question.
It’s not directly proportional. The horsepower requirement exponentially increases, the faster you go. To double the speed, takes roughly 8X the power. The drag on the vehicle roughly quadruples. If you knew the actual horsepower needed to achieve “X” speed, you could mathematically figure out an approximation, for however much faster you want to go. It’s why land speed racing is so incredibly difficult. Doubling the power doesn’t double the speed.

that is a great point..you absolutely know its coming..they will do anything to push it down peoples throats... i think electric trucks and the technology is cool but by god they should leave the free man to make his own choices on what truck he runs down the road... whats happening is scaryJoeyJunk, Siinman, BoostedTeg and 3 others Thank this.
