No doubt. You know how government is though they wait for someone to say something before they finally act. A good time or two of someone complaining and them paying fines for doing it just whatever old way they want may put a stop to it. Maybe not, though. If they have gotten by with it for decades at this company and just pay some fines and maybe compensate a few drivers once, or one driver if individual basis then it may be cheaper to keep just doing that way.BennysPennys Thanks this.

One defines 'Greener Pastures' as one defines Greener Pastures.
I'm not throwing anything away. I am happy and will always be so for the adventure. It was the gift of a lifetime.
Slow freight? I don't know a thing about it. Schneider Dedicated ran me like a rented mule.
Everybody's life runs in ways that are particular to them. My life has brought me to a place where I'm happy, content, and grateful. And by my estimation, that's a pretty good place to be.
Good luck and best wishes4mer trucker, LtlAnonymous, Lonesome and 9 others Thank this. -
Yeah I always helped the drivers out that asked nicely. Some will chase ya down when you're busy and demand this and that and you stop what you're doing and help me now attitude. Yeah they ended up sitting till one of the other guys felt like helping them.BennysPennys, UturnGirl, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm going to be on the 6p to 6a shift.
I kinda like it I guess.
By 6p all the smart people have gone home and by 6a you're gone before they ever knew you were there.
I think I'll be happy.LtlAnonymous, MACK E-6, Lonesome and 10 others Thank this. -

Atlanta trucker, BennysPennys, Opus and 2 others Thank this. -
Almost every SNI driver on a dedicated account hasn't felt an income pinch from current market conditions. System guys have a little, but we're deadheading for freight and keeping more loads in house, miles are okay and I'll say one good thing about the new pay structure - when miles are low the paycheck is pretty nice for the work that I did.
Too many people put value on 'sunk costs' - in this case time with the company. Unless that time creates a 'value add', it shouldn't be taken into account when evaluating opportunities.LtlAnonymous, Lonesome, BennysPennys and 2 others Thank this. -
Well, I guess there's any number of things.
But Dave is a pretty good guy.
I'm sure he'll be kind.JoeyJunk, austinmike, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this.
