We work local in the valley for the most part. Sometimes as far as Yuma or Tucson but mostly just in the valley. Works for us as we are home every night. We live just east of Wickenburg. Without an "in" down here I think breaking into the local flatbed work would be #### near impossible these guys have it mostly all sown up. I don't envy you if you are trying to work off the board.

Or you father had aluminum trailers and aluminum wheels. Mention your board and he would give you a gallon of polish and steel wool. Talk about work. Didn't use the word board around him very often.

That was the idea, make 2 trips in one.

Soon it won’t be so good. Be full of vacationers with RV’s.

Probably the ones too afraid to drive the RVs any faster than 10 under the limit too.

I don't think I've been on it before. That whole area is made for folks who enjoy a nice drive.

Can a truck run that all the way up towards Crater Lake?

I've loaded in Medord and Klammath before, but i think I went back north on 5. Came out of Roseburg with lumber back in winter, and ran up to Crater Lake. Really enjoyed that

Yes. The interior shops stay very busy with custom interior. I have called a few and can’t get any call backs.

That seems to be how it is for lowboy work too.. A couple of the conversations ive had with dealers down here is they either need more trucks or more axles and i really dont have the desire or finances or knowledge to do any of those.. So its just been nothing but loadboard work for me and building relationships with brokers that arent painful to work with..
