I wonder if Connecticut will bill the deceased tanker driver's family for the damages done to the bridge.

they will i am sure, go after the insurance company for not only the clean up, but replacement of any of the structure as well
many years ago, a Gulf gasoline tanker hit a pothole on the I-195 ramp to I-95 north, and flipped over. the fire burnt the driver badly, and melted some of the over pass....
driver survived, i even recall his name..
city of providence and i do believe the state, went after Gulf oil corp for all the repairs......
for a freaking pothole that caused the accident....!!!!!!Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
The authorities confirmed that a four wheeler blew a tire and drove into the tanker truck after losing control from the blowout

You know, every time I see these crashes where a car hits a semi and the semi instantly goes careening off an overpass or into a ditch, I think of all the drivers that pass me that are driving with a couple fingers just TOUCHING the steering wheel. I mean really, a car can just knock a big truck off the road like that if a guy was actually HOLDING the steering with 2 hands...
