The 96 model Case 850G LT that my buddy owns has a push button beside the key switch, engine starts so quickly the button kills the fuel till you see the oil pressure raise, let off the button and she’s puffing smoke….

I have a #4 JIC fitting in the oil rail above the starter on my bucket of bolts. If it’s been setting a few days, or I have had it apart and changed the oil, I tap into the #4 with a small pump and pressurize the whole engine while cranking it over. Won’t crank it till at least 6-7 gallons of oil are in the pan though, so far never had an issue… -

I only wish I could out grow that. I've always been that way, especially if it wasn't mine. Not saying I have no confidence in my work, just how I am. Long tail cat in a room for or rocking chairs? Dog sheeting razor blades? I out grew it with wreckers, drunks, fires. But that first twist of the key has me double guessing myself 500mph. Had a fresh 383 scatter on start up at 18 years-old. We only installed it. Nothing we did. I'll never forget how that felt. Those parts are still hanging on the wall at the owners garage. -
And some trucks.

Was running from Medford out to Bend. Go that way when the road is good.
You can run out toward crater lake, just not in the park. Plenty of truck routes up in that area. Just watch your signs. Only a few places to watch out for. -
Thanks. I only referenced Crater because that main highway (or what i thought was the main highway) intersects up there. Appreciate the info!
From Roseburg up, for those that haven't seen.Last edited: Apr 22, 2023

I seen something on Facebook about that truck, made me feel good to see another piece of history doing what many today say they can’t do anymore. Appreciate you sharing that pic, I haven’t seen this one….exhausted379, Flint1, cke and 8 others Thank this. -
And they say a big truck won’t run triple digits….
