30 mph over will definitely get you a free ride to the graybar hotel in Massachusetts,plus:
A date with the judge,plus:
Points assessed against your license,plus:
Insurance surcharges on your record
The fines of course would be doubled the normal amount in construction zones!
Massachusetts charges exponentially for speeding tickets!
($100 base fine,plus $10 dollars for each MILE PER HOUR OVER THE LIMIT)

 

I thought it was $100, plus $10 for each MPH over 10?

 

Dragging French fries outta Easton?

 

The problem isn't the application of the law, it's who it's applied to.

If I have more money than you, and can drag this thing out: I win.

 

Been there and done that. Multiple times. Didn't mind going up there though.

 

Why was is that french fries in particular were so scarce on the store shelves in the middle of the panicdemic? There were a few months where every door in the frozen aisle at walmart was bare of frozen potatoes.

Nooo. It’s $10 each mph over the limit!
So a 10 mph over ticket will set you back $200-plus the insurance surcharges and points!!
And heaven help you if you’re caught being naughty in a school zone!
