How many will be willing to patronize the Petro in Ontario? Very easy. A bunch of drivers. A whole bunch of drivers are already ok paying for parking, as long as they cam park at a big name truck stop.

End of this year they will raise fuel limit as well. That place is a #### show. They even charge cargo vans to park overnight.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Probably many. I ran into LA for a couple of years running reefer, and that was 20+ years ago now. Could never find any parking anywhere, free or not. I was always happy when I got the hell out of LA and surround, and reached Castaic for free parking, where I could drown another LA visit out with some hefty drinking at the Cowboy Lady or whatever it was called...

    Oxbow and bzinger Thank this.

Problem is there isn't a lot of options. There's a flying j that's probably jammed 24/7, then some mom and pop places that charge, and are worse. I prefer the TA over the petro, but prices are similar. Good luck getting in and out of LA in the same day. Luckily don't get there super frequently.

There's lots of industrial areas in Ontario where you can park for free and as a bonus you don't have to worry about getting your hood torn off.

60 gallons of fuel to park free. That's not bad. I spend a lot less in the convenience stores than I used to. Truckstop has to be profitable to stay open.
