I hear they’re passing or passed legislation that will end that cause people are claiming that the car is randomly shutting down in transit. Usually they put a system that stops allowing the starter from getting juice to crank. Issue with that is many cars have start stop features all you need is to be held up at a traffic light for a few moments for the start stop feature to activate and now you got a disabled vehicle blocking a travel lane. Then if a vehicle were to rear end that disabled vehicle then you got 2 parties suing the dealer.

yes 100 percent it happened to me

Yes, a truck can be remotely shut down from the office, but depending on how it shut down is highly dependable on the device and the company. The one I worked for shut the truck down on me twice once after I drop the load at the loves travel stop. They fired me And then turned it back on I Crunk it up, rolled out now I was doing 70 down the interstate and they shut it off again, but most devices when shutting down a truck either reduce the speed to Avoid any accidents and then once the truck comes to a complete stop, it will not start back up

So, they fired you and then you stole the truck? Not really a good plan was it? When did you get out of jail?

When did the US Marshalls get involved?

With modern technology. A remote shutdown can be done through sat or cell. Depends on the truck and technology package installed.
