3pm finally booked a load out of Dubuque.
Was posted yesterday, but they weren't budging. Got em up $800 more on it today..
Doesn't help that our search was narrowed to freight going to Florida, but I have an appointment I can't miss at home Monday am..
What a waste though. Could've loaded yesterday, & been 7-800 miles closer to home by now. Instead load tomorrow morning, then get going..
so stupid
CAXPT, dwells40, Big Road Skateboard and 7 others Thank this. -

Had one of those head scratching moments today. Was putting in a pump today and had to use a 1-5/8" crowfoot and short extension to tighten one of the lines. It slipped off the fitting and disappeared. Looked everywhere. Figured it couldn't have gone too far since I'm sitting on top of the transmission and working partway down the side of it. Somehow the crowfoot managed to come up and over the transmission and fall down the opposite side

So i left out Friday morning two weeks ago tomorrow. Friday night 30 miles south of Reliance, SD my alternator went out. A buddy was in York, NE headed the same direction, and brought me one out.
Saturday morning I followed him to ND. He couldn't get away from me on the hills. He's running a C16 Cat, 600 horse.
It's ran great. Really impressed with the stock power. Equally impressed with the Jakes. I rebuilt them also, and the holding power is a significant improvement. -
Wait till your 40's. I've lost my keys in my hands.
