never answered my question I see.
it depends on what channel you are on and what channel he is on.
If it is the same channel, of course, it will bleed over but if it is ten away, then there is a problem. -
Then I urge everybody who reads this to check it out next time he transmits. You won't have long to wait.Vampire Thanks this.
-
Well … say he is on channel 1 and so are you, switching to lower or upper sideband and hearing him is normal. The channel is made up of the sidebands, when am is used, there is a carrier inserted into the channel with the sidebands when the carrier is modulated.Vampire and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
-
Yeah I know how it works. I'm accustomed over the last 50 years of hearing a bit of bleedover, but his was extraordinarily strong
-
Yes I agree, he is a little too strong but no one seems to want to do a thing about it where it counts.
-
My take on that guy is this: his hideously ridiculous business plan has failed miserably, so he wants to make others suffer. There's no way he could be working on radios while keying the mic all day and half the night

New Mexico Attorney General is investigating Fine Tune.
A petition for the FCC to 'act-on' the 'Mud Duck Radio', channel 19, nation-wide interference problem -
That’s a joke, the nm ag can’t do a thing about a federal issue and the feds won’t allow them to do a thing about it.
There is a little known problem with these petitions, they are not effective.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
