I'm not exactly sure what was wrong with it because I never opened it up. It was pushing coolant out the breather from excess pressure. But never hydrolocked or had any signs of water in the oil..still runs fine and loaded and unloaded on the trailer.. I feel like an ####### for selling it, but I can't imagine anybody buying a truck at auction is expecting problem free equipment with how much junk gets auctioned off.cke, singlescrewshaker, Gatordude and 4 others Thank this.

Sounds like what happened with my ISX. Never lost power but couldn't keep coolant in it. Dropped liner was allowing combustion gasses into coolant and blowing it out the overflow. Finally gave up under a 170K load and took it to a shop that rebuilt the whole thing. Wasn't a noticeable amount in the oil but enough to cause corrosion on the crank.Isafarmboy, cke, singlescrewshaker and 6 others Thank this.
