lots of haters in this thread... its a custom look. usually guys that build their own trucks and care about taking pride in their ride and riding in style.. they are the only ones that are keeping this industry alive.
I wouldn’t be surprise some of the hatters may have driven an adaptive cruise, automatic brake, automatic everything cascadia that tops out at 70 mph.
Yep. Always bringin the "compensating" argument. I've got 489" of frame rail between my steer and rear drive. Wife likes it long, and thick
Not hatin on anyone at all @D.Tibbitt . Like I said before, it's your money and you can spend it anyway you like, and I have no problem whatsoever with it. I just think that it looks goofy. Also, it's like your buddy that spent $2,000 on a set of rims for his F150. Ask yourself, would I rather have $2,000 or a set of rims? I guess it's just old age catching up with me.
Aesthetics vs. Practicality. I'll take a snub nosed Mack or an Short hooded Volvo into NYC. Give me something to brag about and all my miles will be on the highway. Be a #### fool to do otherwise. Being able to (actually) drive and looking nice are two completely different things.
The tractor doesn’t get pushed around by the trailer as much as a short wheelbase tractor would. Handles better if you don’t get crazy with the length
i think any custom work is cool . even if it not my style. i can appreciate and respect the time and effort it takes to build anything custom..
