Scaling help, 75' combination with 5 axles.

Actually, my 5th wheel is set so my kingpin rests right between the drive axles.... I've found that is generally the "set and forget" position. I've only had to adjust it on NEW trucks....

I slid my axles 4 holes toward the rear, most of our trailers have holes spaced 4" apart, but we do have some that are spaced 6" apart, so your trailer might have a different adjustment.

 

That brings a question.... if the driver is heavy; maybe an amateur bodybuilder and he carries some weights with him to use..... maybe he's obese, just not enough to be considered morbidly obese and can somehow still get his fat butt into the cab, and even passes his physical.....

What happens if he's so heavy that his additional weight puts too much weight on the steers?
