Man my neighbour is awesome. Retired heavy truck mechanic. Needed a pair of snap ring pliers so I could press out the lower balljoint. Quick phone call and he says come on over.

I found that most people will wait until the only thing holding the wheel on is the brake caliper mounting bracket before having the vehicle towed in.PoleCrusher, singlescrewshaker, beastr123 and 5 others Thank this.

I think I did pretty good. 135k miles and this is the first time I've had to touch anything on the front end. I ordered ball joints for it 2 years ago when the parts shortages were getting bad. I probably could have gotten another year out of those but figured may as well change them since I'm already halfway into it. Just noticed my sway bar bushings are pretty pounded out too, those'll be ordered up next week.
Just got the new lower replaced, just need to swap out the upper arm and then put it all back together. Hopefully the other side is still tight so I can put that off until next week. I'd rather start a project Friday night than on a Saturday afternoon.singlescrewshaker, Gatordude, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -
And that's the night. Sold 300lbs of BBQ and made smores for the neighborhood kids in my back yard.
Peachy had partied enough.

I've been on the weightloss and gym plan, but truck and cook BBQ to. It's a battle brother. Today's list.
Ribs
Chicken quarters
Pulled pork
Burnt ends
Smoked sausage
Mac+cheese
Green beans and bacon. All wood smoked.dwells40, The Green Mountain, singlescrewshaker and 13 others Thank this. -
All about the calories. Lower the calories below what you use, loose weight.
Sounds easy. But it is the truth. Still, yeah right.singlescrewshaker, Feedman, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -
Yes and no. I mostly don't agree with lowing calories if your actually working out. Because you need calories for energy. And most who lower calories only loose weight short term.
Plus beer is "empty calories" so I stopped counting them.singlescrewshaker, Feedman, CAXPT and 7 others Thank this. -
Home stretch now:
Lower balljoint was a bit of a see ya next Tuesday to get pressed out and I had to pull the strut to get the upper control arm bolts out. Should be back on the floor by 1 am lolz.dwells40, singlescrewshaker, beastr123 and 10 others Thank this. -
Well, here is what happens if you go a few days past that.

Not knocking you, friend, but you may be misunderstanding. He said to lower calories below WHAT YOU USE. The way you do that is by first figuring out your calorie intake per day on average. Do your workout, have your fun, do you and be you… just count your calories and figure out your average daily intake.
The following week, cut your intake by 5% and see what happens. If nothing, cut 10%. When you get to the magic number, all of a sudden, the weight will start to roll off, but you will feel fine instead of weak irritable and jittery. It’s like dyno tuning yourself to run better.
The problem with dieting is that someone else is trying to tell you how many calories you should intake and you get this incredibly hungry feeling that consumes all. No one can tell you the exact calories. You have to figure out how many, and stick with that number until you reset your default setting. During the week. On a weekend, go out and be sociable. Easy.
For the overwhelming majority, the number one culprit is what you drink. You will realize that when you decide to cut 10%, you might not even have to change your eating habits if you switch to a zero cal beverage during the week. That’s generally an easy change to make.singlescrewshaker, Gatordude, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this.
