i must have blocked 15+ dispatching companies phone numbers this week and its only monday...these people are like ####roaches... try to kill em and another one shows up... its gotton to the point i dont even find fun in messing with them anymore... just plain irritating... because its always when im in the middle of something or waiting on a phone call from someone else...

Pulled the backseat & cut a piece of plywood to fit, & few 2×4 as support legs so it was level. Covered that with indoor/outdoor carpet & used a staple gun to attach it..
Next was 4"foam cut to fit to make a "mattress". Then the typical sheets, pillows & bedding..
Mind you at the time my girlfriend & our 80lb American bulldog was in the truck too. Cramped was a understatement.!
This was also pre eld days. It was time to move on from a pickup anyway, but I bought ol' Buck in Dec, 2017.. Impeccable timing ehh.? Lol
So to answer the actual question, yes we slept in the Dodge, but no more than 3 nights a week. Really only when "forced", like any motel on route didn't allow dogs, had bed bug reviews on google, or was outrageous in price. Before the rona, lot of decent motel 6 & super 8 existed for about $55 all in with taxes & fees. We stayed a ton of La Quinta's for about $75-80 too..
Don't recommend anyone subject themselves to this. Wanna hotshot?, get an ol Buck with an actual bunk for 10% the cost of a new pickup & have at it..
It's the past & our relationship survived intact, stronger.. And as more or less my travel agent from home now, she has a full understanding of what frustrations I have on the road, & helps to avoid them before they happen.. -
Wow Jim, that turned out just fantastic!!

Is this the decal I spy on the hood there!?
Lol

Lol, yep that’s it…. Has the original engine in it.
The cab is from a truck I drug in that belonged to my friend Tom, Tom had bought it in 1981?? It was only 3 months old.
I kept the sleeper, steering wheel, and gear stick with the Oldskool shift knob…
