From Pennsylvania To Belize

Belize is very dangerous. I vacationed in Tulum at a resort and was warned not to travel to Belize. I had a rented a car so I would drive around certain towns, but Belize was not on my agenda.

 

“Geographic Arbitrage” is what they call it. YouTube, for whatever reason, has been feeding me videos of people who retired in Belize and the Philippines.

Belize, especially near the water, looked absolutely beautiful. As cheap as it is on land, living on a boat off the docks has got to be even cheaper than that. Hell, you could fish for food if you had to.

A guy who owned a poker club out here in West Texas and who was a compulsive gambler, had some serious gambling debts and was recently forced to sell his club and move to Belize for his safety. He could be your neighbor. If he starts tapping his foot after he raises he’s got pocket pairs.

 

Wasn't it Belize where alot of stolen us cars used to turn up ?
