Awesome man!!! Texas is my favorite state but I can’t get the rest of the family on board. We had family in Ft Worth who just moved to SLC because they are stupid. Got a sister that lives outside of Austin (I don’t care for that part of TX).

I know some drivers around Nashville that did that. All have serious health problems from smoking, drinking, partying.
I know one has already died due to unhealthy lifestyle. Lots of partying and lots of women.
They drove buses and 18-wheelers. One of them used to take women inside Conway Twittys bus and they'd have a good old time. All those drivers did that; nice buses and fancy sleeper trucks.

The driver for Conway Twitty was standing inside the bus talking to him, when he dropped dead from a heart attack. That driver lost his cdl because he had a pacemaker that couldn't keep his heart regulated properly to pass the DOT physical.
The article says he died at the hospital, but he died inside his bus. Guess he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No. I've known of the move for several months now. I'm following my recently widowed mother to Texas. She wants out of Arizona, saying it's too hot there.

That was her initial answer. :dontknow:

Later, in further conversation, it was revealed that three friends and a family member were already living there, and that was the real reason.

You gotta try Soulman's BBQ. They have 2 or 3 locations in Ft Worth but are all over the metro area. It's the only place I go to for BBQ in the DFW metro area. I'm not saying others ain't good, but Soulman's is my top, go-to BBQ in Texas.
Be hungry when you go & get the loaded baked potato for your side.

When you get to Ft Worth -- it might be a good idea to check out DOT Transportation; they have a terminal in Saginaw:

    Drive for DOT Transportation

I met a recruiter from DOT Transportation when I was driving for Indian River. It was a good offer, but it was local to central California.
