my former trainer told me about a time he was in a target parking lot and seen a tow truck back up to his truck and after telling at the guy he was leaving and the guy ignored him. he then jump in his truck put it gear and the guy threaten to call the police but he wasn't able to hook the truck up. and he left but this tow truck driver must have need the cash bad because he followed my former trainer for what he said seem like a hour to the state line.

Hmmm.....is this quite possibly why a lot of truck stops have "DRIVERS ONLY" sections in their restaurants? Not so drivers can have their own place, but to keep us from grossing out the general public?

Not too many non-drivers eat at truckstops........unless that is their only option. Heck, if there is something else within walking distance....I tend not to eat at truckstops!

No sir, there wasn't. But to be honest, even if there had been, I probably wouldn't have anyway. I thought I could get out, tell him I was leaving, and that would have been the end of it. The bottom line is don't park your truck anywhere off of exits 36 and 38 on I70 in Ohio. What stinks is is that at exit 36, where the Target now is, used to be a large truck stop that was there before all of those other retail places were around. That whole strip of retail stores between those two exits sprouted up around the truck stop. Then one day Target comes in, buys up the truckstop, and the city of Huber Heights, Ohio, which I am ashamed to say I am a citizen of, passes ordinances banning all trucks. I can't park my bob-tail in my driveway. I can't park it in the back yard out of everyone's view. No. I have to park at a truck stop 40 miles away, or my company's terminal 60 miles away.

I have to take issue with this. You walk into any rest area on a summer day when the places is frequented by a bunch of sandal wearing, rubes in plaid bermuda shorts, traveling on their two hour trip to the amusement park or where ever. Without getting too graphical, you need to go to the restroom where you need a clean stall to sit in for a few minutes and take care of business. Yeah, good luck with that. Half of these guys are too bashful to use the urinals, so they go into the stalls and proceed to urinate all over the seats and floor. When you do find a clean one, I can't tell you how many times the stall next to mine suddenly becomes occupied and a stream of urine comes under the wall, aimed at my feet. On I71, south of Cincinnati, down by Walton, Ky there are rest areas in both directions. Both of them have a separate building for truckers. Here's a challenge, on any given day go into both, and see which one is cleaner. I guarantee you it's the trucker's restroom.
